ABOUT US
Lake Crystal Energy is a privately held exploration and production company founded by former Wall Street investment professionals and Oil & Gas industry experts. The company was established in 2020 with an equity commitment from multiple investors. We seek to grow through acquisitions of matural PDP assets and the development of our existing assets through low risk drilling, recompletion, and workover programs. Since our founding, we have acquired 4,200 acres in the Midland and are continually looking for new opportunities to grow by targeting acquisitions in areas with stacked pay and existing production.
LEADERSHIP

Peter Xu, Co-founder and CEO. Mr. Xu has over 25 years investment and management experience in capital market, energy market and small business. Previously, he was the founder and CEO of Northshore Invest, LLC where he built and managed a portfolio of small businesses with annual sales of $22 Million and EBITA $6 Million. Prior to that, he held various investment and management positions at Millennium Partners, Barclays Capital, and Lehman Brothers. Mr. Xu earned a MS degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University in Boston.

Patrick Sun, VP of Finance. Mr. Sun joined Lake Crystal Energy Investment from Seaport Global Securities, where he cover over 30 companies in the exploration and production sector since 2014. Prior to this he spent over five years working as an investment banker at Pacific Securities in China where he closed over $1.5B transactions. Mr. Sun earned his MBA at Washington University’s Olin School of Business and his undergraduate degree in Mechanics from Peking University. Mr. Sun is a CFA charter holder.
